It's an a-okay if they're in the empire, he's the prince and they're subjects. But here at the school, he considers himself not above other students regardless of their origin. Should one go around commanding his equals? It's pure hypocrisy to abuse authority to stop others from abusing authority, at that point he has no moral ground to condemn them.

The prince decided to not meddle with them because is not his business, but if his name is being used by nobles of his nation it is his business, this is a bit of a forced development and I don't really like it.
If a king had a noble under him using the royal name to bully another country it would become a international incident, by leaving the students of his nation behave like that he is enabling future bad behaviour, "it is fine to do this, the prince/emperor doesn't care or is fine with his subordinates acting like this, he will cover for us".

It's hilarious when people take the comic relief character more seriously than the author and rest of the cast. She's either funny or she's not funny. And right now the joke is that her random arguably umm "on the spectrum" out of place comments are just ignored. Which yeah isn't too funny, but at least the scene doesn't linger on those jokes.

I can't say I agree a lot with the prince. I get that it's a delicate situation and his response could worsen things, but also these people are smearing his name and abusing it too explicitly be asses. There should be some sort of consequence to that, and a way to distance the royal family's name from such bad behavior.

Fujoshi are not called rotten because they have gay fantasies about straight men, they are rotten because they try to make their fantasy a reality and are willing to destroy their infatuation's reputation and life to attain that eventually.
