I really don't know what I expected at the start of this storyline but it seems to now be following the recent trend of "losing heroine finds her man".

There's been a few of these stories lately but I did think that this might take a different approach with the MC's drive to make her win.

The MC succeeds in helping the childhood friend land her man, then as a ripple effect, the MC ends up with the OG heroine or other characters emerging from the changes made to the original story.

I think this manga is good regardless so this is less of a complaint, more of voicing the plot giving off the potential to go it's own way early on.

Whatever it was, he didn't mention it and just moved on but he does that with a lot of things that bother him.

I would rather this followed the route of only the losing heroine liking him, but it's seems they decided to go towards "now I am the MC instead"
