I love the distinct sense of unease in every action, humans are creatures of expectation, and Lucifer fucks with that idea in everything he does and says, every sentence targets something deep in the priests subconscious, and you get the sense that nothing that happens down there is really a coincidence.

this take on lucifer is really refreshing. he really does feel like the old adage, the devil comes as someone beautiful. he honeys words to try and gather support and for a lot of people thats all it takes. but his problem is hes seen only part of gods plan. sure he knows most of it, such as the last judgement, but theres no way thatll really be the end. theres a lot of very good catholic apologetics i could get into such as with st.augustine or with Mere Christianity , but overall this is a really incredible take on one of the most classic villains in both literature and religion. bravo

The author's really good at writing antagonists that portray their motivations sympathetically enough, that you nearly forget that they've already attempted-- or have succeeded-- to commit grave atrocities.
