I now wonder how far back Rui first encounter Sara, and for how long she's "been aware" of her.
Sure, I'm likely reading into those pause-panels of Rui's mouth & face on p.12 & p.21, but she's clearly hiding something significant from Sara in answering her questions this chapter.

That, and she's got that duality of "prim and proper pure little saint" and then a switch flips and she goes half-love demon once the mood get set. I really don't think it's entirely an act and she's probably got some "I need to let loose to depressurize myself" type stuff going on.

Getting a bit of their motivation is nice to see, though. I hope we also get more of Rui's actual, authentic inner workings, as for the most part we've been in Sara's POV and have to rely on what we're being shown to get the bigger picture & any nuance beyond the dialogue.



But it's hot, it's compelling, and I can't wait for the next installment.
