Chel, actually didn't know the language at first, but she learned it very quickly. There was something about mental magic, which possibly included reading minds, but I think everyone but Sylvia has some resistance/immunity to it.
Sylvia, not faking anything, the only time so far the vampiric heritage stuff has been relevant was during the coup (her family was keeping in practice with using their ability and were given blood that had a weakening effect).
Helly was basically at the end of her rope too, she fled prison, climbed an icy mountain with poor gear, and couldn't move anymore, just kept chanting necromancy spells until Makyo saved her.
Oddly enough, at this point in the story none of them seem to be in love with him or anything, but Jennifer does want to be his wife, because she doesn't trust any man to stay a good person when they become powerful, and she feels she could do a lot of good as his wife.

Went and read chapter 15,
Extremely funny to me how they go "the girls had a talk... but that's for another time!" like 5 pages before the series ends. I know it's a WN/LN ad, but still funny to be like "well I guess it won't ever be that other time."

looks more like a Promotional Serialization, but it could have been cancelled earlier cause the magazine run out of pages(hiatus coming back or new launches) ...too bad like most of PS it starts with a interesting punch but with the pass of time they goes back to the usual tropes...

Thanks for all the work! But your group's website has those annoying popup ads. If they weren't so intrusive, I wouldn't mind, but for now, I'm going to just use an app to bypass them.

Shame. Also nice to see groups threatening at the top/bottom of chapters to stop translating unless you go to their website, where most visitors would be using adblockers anyway. You are catering to a crowd that is used to getting everything for free, good luck monetizing that (while infringing copyright).
I think the whole scene could change dramatically within a few years. Particularly since so many groups are already using MTL tools. The most important thing could become getting reliable access to the raws.

Yup it's just a question of time till MTL tools actually become good enough to be readable and once that happens, groups like this one will die really fast. Which I'm not convinced is actually a bad thing overall.

I've definitely read this chapter before, and not at Hunlight's website... I think? I have this series marked as Completed, and I don't tend to do that until all the chapters are on Mangadex so I can neatly select them as all read.
That aside, this had potential imo, so it's a little sad to see it go. I'm not opposed to reading the LN, but I prefer the manga format compared to novels and anime, so I don't know if I'll get to reading it before I lose interest and/or forget about it entirely for a while or indefinitely.
