They are not for holding hostage behind a patreon membership to vote on and "claiming" without actually having a license.

But seriously, this "scanlation" is some of the lowest effort work I've ever seen. It's obvious they literally just took the Spanish translation on mangadex and threw it into Google Translate's image translation function. Several hints to this: the random Spanish idiom about "fighting windmills", upside-down exclamation marks, the font used being the same one that Google Translate uses, the extreme variance in font size.
Anyone could do this themselves, as an example I tried putting a page into google translate and here's what I got:

It's the exact same as this "scanlation", word for word.

This scanlation serves no purpose. In fact, reading it is worse than reading the Spanish translation yourself with an MTL, since this scanlation misses a few text bubbles (eg one on page 10). My concern is that anyone who picks up this series might skip these chapters because they've already been "scanlated".
