There is so much to appreciate here, I can forgive the standard shounen designs. The art and story are much deeper than they appear at first glance. The author really seems to know what they want to accomplish and (most importantly) knows how to get there.

The last few pages of this chapter really gripped me. Can't wait to see where this goes. I imagine that Evan was a tragic hero of his world like Guts or something.
