Also, who is the central protagonist? If any of them are like that at all. The posters seem to put the brunette in the center, but the very first story seems to be dedicated to our gyaru-chan...

All I understood was that for some reason Gyaru-chan was holding out and couldn't say something to that guy, which made her look scary or sorts. But in the end she did and he decided that she was nice.

She's most likely a baseball fanatic, and most likely she was going to say that she couldn't watch the show they were talking about because she wanted to watch a baseball game. I think she was just excited because someone agreed with her on the game.

I read it wrong first and thought that she was mad because she disagreed with him, but rereading it I saw that they said the same thing

This sounds more like a character introduction scene from begining of some sport shonen than a rom-com or CGDCT. Damn, despite the moe and short chapters, this manga is more intriguing than titles about mind games. But jokes aside, now I'm really interested in what will happen next.

Yeah, I think it's because in Japanese it's easier to avoid telling who you're talking about, but speaking that way doesn't translate as well to English. I haven't looked at the raws though, but that would be my suspicion.

Agree with kn4ll, she isn't annoyed. My interpretation is, she just reacted to his conversation about baseball game; butshe has a bitch face as default, so it comes off as annoyed.
