There are a fair few of those I think. Usually there are other characters with romantic interest in the MC (because escapist fantasy after all) but the MC is loyal. Lazy Dungeon Master comes to mind.

IMO that's supposed to be what harems are. So for me, I find it irritating to have a harem tag but at the end only loyal to one. Maybe we should have a Polygamy tag or something to separate from the "fake" harem mangas lol.

I was also surprised but I completely understood when I saw it's the same author as Zennin Ossan and Kizoku Tensei. Basically, this is an absurd wish-fulfillment isekai. I won't be surprised if MC becomes a renowned person at a very young age very soon.

Harem means the MC isn't committed to any yet. Polygamy means the MC is actively in relationship with multiple women.

Figures, but that is indeed misusing the term. A good example of a good harem manga is Beast tamer, they all have good character development instead of just adding random girls as you go on
