If Souma is actually trying to keep his brothers from going the same rabbit hole he went in, color me surprised, I didn't think he had it in him. Even less so now that he's basically a husk.

Either he’s trying to get his brothers out of the Kou clan’s shady business (I have doubts) or he’s trying to hide them away somewhere else, so Hakubi can’t use them to replace him, and the only reason he doesn’t use the more guaranteed method of killing them, is because even he hasn’t fallen quite so far as to do that to his own brothers (what I’m thinking). Another possibility is that he’s moving some place that they can be more easily disposed of, but I don’t know if he’ll go that far.

I’d be shocked if Souma killed his little brothers… but I wouldn’t be shocked if Hakubi killed Souma and made Mitsuma his new baby assassin.

It would be unique, but maybe not strange, if Hakubi's fucking around with Souma's life has led to his ambition and anger being used up, and the only thing left is the lingering memories of being a big brother. If he uses up what's left of himself to give his little brothers a chance to get to safety, I don't know if it's redemption, but it would be justified.

Man, I was so worried at first. I thought he would try to end his brothers for being candidates for his replacement.
But he went for the "family" way.
I highly doubt he can get away from this. Even by this manga standard, his body seems to give up. Guess I'm gonna listen to the "see you again" song from F&F again soon.

looks like i'm not the only one who's worrying about Souma's brothers fate. best case scenario here would be Hakubi getting jumped and killed by Mao-Hyakka before he can harm the brothers
