Wow, not only is the head maid wrong on all accounts (comparing abused serfs to well treated maids, as if it's fine to ignore abuse if it didn't happen to her), she then contradicts herself. Extremely inconsistent, and honestly, this should have been where the hero, with his practical knowledge, taught the demons a thing or two.

I really hope this isn't only the hero learning things as time goes on.

I'm surprised neither the hero nor the demon queen cut out the head maid speaking all that bullshit. What does she know about them and their circumstances to speak to them like that?Does she really think they would have escaped if their life was sunshine and rainbows?It's surprising how much more ruthless the head maid is compared to the demon queen
