First time through, I guess I didn't comment much past the point where I realized the comments sections were desync'd from the actual comics, something to do with volume chaptering versus magazine chaptering.
Anyway, so much to unpack with Nikaido's reflection on things, here. He's got worries about Rei suddenly going 'soft' in Shogi now that he's with Hina for real, but they've got each other's back in a very positive and healthy way, and he seems eager to show off some 'fun' shogi play he's worked out with his studying supported by Hina's prepared meals.
Gotta love the visuals of Rei+Hina being happy together in Nikaido's mind's eye, though.
