Erasing ur own memories versus others sounds stupid/seems like it wouldn’t be a reason to not convict him
“Sorry your honor I don’t remember killing those three men which means I didn’t do it” lol connections aside if anything it also sounds risky in case something in his past comes up/someone tailing him and not realizing it bc he erased his memory of seeing the same face everywhere
