The only remotely possible explanation for gunthers treatment of maria is that he intentionally treats her terrible because the internal politics are bad and hes constantly spied on so he has to make it seem like he doesnt care about her at all. And even then there are better solitions.
Also, nancy turning out to be a worse and worse person and so is her now husband, icant.

Ok so to everyone who thought this was trash wow I cannot express how absolutely ASS the novel is. Like it reaches a point you start to ask the author what the hell is wrong with them.

Like. No. No person reading this can understand how truly Trashy this series is until you read a summary of the novel. Its just fucking out of this world. I have no idea whats going on in the authors head, but I hope they are alright because What The Fuck.
