Where did that emperor artifact even come from? The Lu dude was jumping from one body to another as a soul, so he obviously couldn't carry any items with him. Even though he had hidden a storage ring at the bottom of the pool, he must have some sort of soul storage in use instead, for it to follow him jumps. Why did he need the ring in that case? Maybe the artifact is refined and tied to his soul and can be summoned from his soul
