The Star Soul Palace seems to be a den of petty tyrants. Logically any other sects of the southern domain ought to be eager to betray them, if given a chance. Honestly it seems like a place Yang Kai will need to destroy just like the whatever passionate palace it was that he eradicated. Of course he would first need to get strong enough to deal with a great emperor level cultivator.
