So far Yang Kai's track record in doing pretty much anything to help demons live peacefully in their own land isn't all that good. Not that he would care. It would be nice if Ru Meng and the other demons under him did care and started to suspect his dedication to the task. At the end of the day, he even rejected the normal flag designs for his army and simply went for the character "kill" and declared they will kill all the demons they encounter. The demons themselves are brutal and merciless, so maybe Ru Meng doesn't care all that much about such symbolism, but now she even lost her own army, which means she lost her military power. It's not like she would have joined Yang Kai's side just for her own sake. She wanted to save her people. One day she needs to ask if Yang Kai truly is interested in that or maybe Yang Kai just wants to advance his dao of space and the demon domain and all the demons are nothing but expendable tools for that purpose.
