The whole ancient incident of someone directly breaking out to level nine open heaven and becoming a murderous monster is totally bogus. Just look at how most of the cave heaven and paradise people act like petty highwaymen. You can easily deduce they simply became jealous of the sect that got the instant powerhouse and they launched a surprise attack to kill the level nine person, to remove competition. After succeeding, they rewrote history to say how such a person became a murderous monster after such a breakthrough and thus it can't be allowed in the future. The old sect leaders of the cave heavens and paradises merely want to retain their own superiority and no method to make sure it happens is too despicable or immoral for them.

Yang Kai is going to make a whole lot of enemies in the future. Hopefully a good chunk of cave heavens and paradises will be crushed under his heel.
