If we were to be honest and impartial, those two blood warriors have been looking down on Yang Kai. Their stance from the beginning was that he's not anything much, aside from his lineage, before they can personally witness any power he might have. Maybe the man had a bit more foresight than the woman, but not by a significant degree, I'd say. That basic stance was there for him too. Maybe it can't be fully avoided since apparently if the blood warriors do get involved in the inheritance war, they will need to choose their own candidate, so obviously they would need to evaluate all of them to make their choice. But it doesn't change the fact that initially they did think Yang Kai likely isn't worthy, unless proven otherwise. When they first appeared, they didn't seem to genuinely believe Yang Kai is a powerhouse and they just need to judge if he's the best bet among all the powerhouses.
