I have no idea why Yang Kai had to tell all that to the ink giant/ink source clone. Sure, he managed to rile up the giant, at great expense of crystals, and thus possibly stretching the time the thing needs to release itself, but that's all. On the other hand, if any random ink clan members happen to visit the ink giant, they will learn there's a dangerous entity at the Beginning Great Restriction. The ink clan could then send a few territory lords there. Wu Kuang, at the moment, is only seventh rank, so he might get killed.

This seemed totally pointless.
