It's somewhat ridiculous that Qiu Meng told practically nothing at all to her father. How can the poor man make any decisions when the only solid intel he has got isn't much, yet Qiu Meng refuses to talk, only repeating that Yang Kai is a capable guy and has a reason to be confident. I'd also be quick to think Qiu Meng is just saying all that because of love, debt (that she refuses to talk about), or blind admiration. Although all that being said, if the father has a history of relying on Qiu Meng's insight successfully, he should just stick to it and keep relying on it.
