Ooohh what a complicated plot! It feels like the author added the "main character's sister is really a criminal perpetrator" mystery plotline just to make the plot last longer haha. If they just went with the more straightfoward and plausible plotline that the main character's sister was bullied and gang-raped and blackmailed then the bullies murdered her to try and cover it up, then the plot would be a lot shorter .
At the moment it feels quite inconsistent, like if she was willingly working in a criminal enterprise then would she be bullied like that? I guess we're going to find out that some part of what we have been told so far about Akane is untrue.
I certainly hope she didn't willingly make a gang rape video for the sake of her criminal activities, or that she's mutsumi's girlfriend after all and still has feelings for him.
That's the kind of gut punch I could sort of imagine from the author since they're saying that Akane did something unforgivable. then that would set up Ao killing Akane in a rage after she chooses to protect Mutsumi or something.

Also it's funny that getting beaten up by mutsumi once now makes Ao able to beat up 3 adults unarmed. Even in the first manga the main character didn't get super strength from what I rememebr.
