Oohh boy. I'm here for Kai, she seems fun. And like, not marrying some random guy is a totally valid goal. But holy shit i hate the duke already. I was promised a badass heroine making swords and meeting magical beasts, and instead this is shaping up to be pretty damn annoying. I'll try it for a little longer but ugh. I hope the duke becomes at least marginally likeable like wtf way to treat an adult woman like a child and not consider anyone else's feelings. Mind you Kai could've gone about the whole thing smarter. But also her dad could've respected his kid.
