The author makes her too perfect as a woman. And this trait is so Ultra Rare in every anime / manga / novel. Unfortunately usually falls into "Losing Heroine".

Ren Yamashiro is suddenly become popular from her domination loss and very big gap moe when the reward is begin, when she becomes dog because MC sees her loves to dog and treat him as dog, which triggers a suggestion about dog words in mind.

And there is Mira who is manly and we can treats her like male buddy in female body, only minus that she is so virgin that she is awkward in sexual engagement.

Then this Kyouka... is so 2000-ish. Very typical Tsundere and totally resembles of fusion Louise (Zero no Tsukaima) + Shana (Shakugan no Shana). In Fact, both Louise & Shana has same VA and made from same studio.

Kyouka lose because tsundere is so obsolete, plus simply because Tenka overshadow everyone since the very first poll and her appearance for her perfectly matched every boy's dream.

She's not my favorite (Konomi is best girl.) but she's definitely better than Tenka. Especially given how she also has most of the good points you credited to other characters.

First of all, Nagatoro is hardly a new type of character and hime dere is as much a subspecies of tsundere as kuudere or yandere but that doesn't really have anything to do with Kyouka.

Tsundere is being unable to admit your feelings of love and responding in an extremely hostile way instead. Kyouka shows no real antagonism or aggression to Yuuki and she isn't really in love with him yet so she isn't a tsundere. She doesn't like the rewards but it would be weirder if she did like them. The rewards are based on Yuuki's inner desire's so it's perfectly natural to be annoyed with him because of them but it never really goes beyond annoyance and she never gets particularly angry at Tenka or seriously tries to stop her.

The only reason I brought up hitting Yuuki was because you specifically called her an early 2000s tsundere and while tsundere's are still annoyingly popular but that was when they were at their most toxic. They're thankfully much milder nowadays.

I also want to be clear in that I personally hate tsundere characters. Kyouka isn't best girl but I still like her and I don't want to see her being slandered by being called a tsundere. She's really supposed to be like an S&M mistress and you can't just say every dom is tsundere.

I'm sorry, the fights in this manga are getting increasingly ridiculous. In the very last moment of the fight, we find out that he can now get absorbed into the sword, and then kind of flung out from it in some kind of semi-ethereal form, and for some reason this allows him to totally wreck her and at the same time extract all the absorbed people from her body totally safe and sound? It's hard to find it cool when it's so completely out of left field and convenient.
