Nah, this chapter ruined it for me completely.
He's such a spineless pussy that he couldn't even open his damn mouth and say anything when grown ass men were pushing around a literal little girl. So if whatshername didn't stand up and say anything he was going going to let it be? Not only that but he also tried to act cool by giving all the money they earned right back to the scumbags that used him to scam and fleece a bunch of people. Yeah, real cool move rewarding bad people for doing wrong, you goddamn retard.
This is the kind of shit that makes me lose hope in Japanese manga, it's like they go the extra mile to make the main character as unlikable as possible. They spare the lives of murderers and rapists, even letting them go free without arrest, all in the name of "kindness", so that they can continue to murder and rape innocent people. Grown ass men that can never open their mouths or stand up for themselves because one bad experience with people gave them such low self-esteem that they refuse to believe that they're worth anything. Stuttery, socially inept cowards that always bow their heads and choke up any time some random dude looks at them funny.
Usually in cases like this where the main character struggles to stand up for themselves, they at least are able to stand up for others that are even more helpless, but the fact that this guy can't even do that on his own is just nauseating.
Flaws are necessary for a character to have depth, but they also need to have actual redeemable qualities to balance things out. If you just pack the character full of flaws to the point where the very thought of rooting for them makes you want to throw up then you've failed at character design.
