Pretty much. The young man population is pretty timid nowadays. Japanese part especially. Something REALLY heavily obvious is needed.

This MC should just not take anything she says seriously. He should just be like no to everything and when she asks why. Simply state you are a liar and I don't like to be played with. Then see if she's willing to change. I mean if the FMC really does like him maybe her behavior would change if the MC took a hardline stance. Overall a cute and frustrating manga.

Personally I don't hate the premise.
I dislike how heavy handed the execution is.
I thought it would be alternating between sweet chapters and chapters with some teasing and such.

But here the female lead is gaslighting, lying and teasing the male lead every 2 pages. That's waaaayyy too much.

The point is that for pretty much his entire life she has played around with him in teasing manner. Like obviously to us she is interested in him but she is too chicken to honest about it and the result is that he is in a perpetual state of confusion. In short he is dense af and she made him that way.
