Hmmm I was expecting a comedy, but right now it hasn't been funny at all. The story is Oku indulging in his fondness for human weirdness but it hasn't come together yet. The son isn't really compelling yet, not even in a "he's so weird/hateable, I need to know more" kind of way. But the whole manga is less than 30 chapters, so I guess I'll end up finding out pretty soon what is going on here.
