Wow. This was bad. This was hilariously bad.
In one chapter, the author tries to do this grand escalation of everything that makes no sense.
Haiji is the real onii-chan. Okay, sure, whatever. But other than him, four other people were witnesses to the murder, and literally all of them kept quiet even though there was zero reason.
And this is literally the first time we ever hear of Takumi insulting Yotsuji. Why? It felt like the author tossed that in just to give a flimsy excuse for the murder.
"If I hadn't pushed him away, Takumi would have probably died anyways." Ugh...no. Probably not. He looked decently alive, at least conscious enough to ask for help.
Then Yuugo comes in all slasher. Sure, he's obviously pissed that his best friend had been murdered and so many people had hid it from him, but there had been actually zero indication that he was willing to hurt people like that.
Then Haru is just being Haru, setting fire to everything.
It's just the author piling on a bunch of crap for drama when a lot of it made no sense. This was bad, and I regret wasting time on it.
