What do you mean? Is there an option like that? When I upload a chapter, I don't see anything of the sort. As far as I know, readers can choose their preferred format. Maybe you have set it in single page. @sedition
Next time instead of saying it that way, tell me how to make it a long strip, and I didn’t know I needed to add a 'long strip' tag to set it as default. I’m not familiar with how Mangadex works.

And I didn't know that it’s difficult for you to set your reading preference to long strip. If you set your reading preference to long strip it will save your choice so the next chapter will also be in that format.

The person that uploads the chapters has an option to set the default page direction, couldn't tell you how as I've never uploaded a chapter to mangadex before, but it will default automatically to long strip for long strip series, and single page for single page series. Some series don't even give you the option of changing your page layout when it's set to a certain default.

I've never needed to change the layout because it will always default to whatever the upload is set as, which is why your uploads all seem to be set to single page despite it being long strip.

I wish I knew how to fix it for you, but I can't find a single bit of info regarding how to set a default for the series itself.
