Holy christ it's like everyone in the comment section forgot who vivian was and what she did up until a few chapters ago. It's not like he's forcing some innocent little girl to be his slave.

He's unlikeable because he does not display any positive qualities in those chapters. Basically, his behavior indicates that everybody is a pawn for him. Possibly a disposable one. Spider and his teammates too.

Yup, he lowkey trying to gather more pawns, like that one girl that left for the guild, he knows that he can't use her as a pawn so he just let her go to her inevitable failure or even death without warning her.
