Wait, that's the end 
When I saw the synopsis at first I was like "oh cool, mermaids".
Then I saw it was about eating mermaids and I realised nvm.
But to think the only happy end (sort of?) was in the very first chapter
I guess the pirate story went okay-ish as well...
