I'm afraid this author is trying to write about medicine in very stupid way since they obviously didn't do any research at all.
1.) It would be very unlikely for her parents to both have the same kind of cancer. It's not like cancer is contagious, you know?
2.) If it's not a charity/free hospital then, of course, the patients are obligated to pay. Does he think salaries and medical supplies don't need to be paid for?
3.) Chemotherapy? For someone so weak they are 2 days from dying? Wouldn't that just kill them?
4.) If they are really dying then the doctors would probably recommend that they go home or they would be sent to hospice care.
5.) Security guards wouldn't be the ones removing the patient's oxygen tubes when they have the nurse right there.
Anyway, just all the little details that are all wrong are irking me.
