This world doesn't know about cloth put in warm water nor baths? There is a limit to how stupid things can get. I know this is a trope. But they are world with lifestyle magic for god's sake!

The mangaka could have had the girls praise him for putting in the effort and thinking of making the bath in this kind of way, but that they have never had a bath? The A class adventurers? Even poor folk have taken a bath in rivers and such. And the creation of bath itself is not a complex thing. It just takes time and effort (depending on if they knew the tricks for simple baths) hence why poor farmer family might not do it often.

Seriously, if Romans could do warmed baths easily, AND public ones, there is no bloody excuse here for Mr fantasy world.

Cutest member of the party.

Tubs have been reasonably common throughout history. Which is what he had there. A simple wooden tub, which you'd easily find in households that had the spare space (which wasn't always a given, especially in cities and towns). And aside from that, bathhouses were also common in many cultures.

If you're talking European history specifically, which tends to be what isekais are sort of based on, these things were absolutely true. It doesn't matter what time period you're talking about either. Perhaps they were less common where I live, but we have tons of lakes and rivers. We also have saunas in any reasonably sized farm house, and that's an old cultural aspect as well.

Wow, this is so stupid. He paid full price, material, assembly work, etc..., for a pile of logs and planks, pulled the floating pieces behind his boat, and only then assembled the raft himself to have it float, instead of PULLING THE FINISHED RAFT BEHIND HIS BOAT.

That's like driving to the shop to buy a trailer for your car, asking the shop to disassemble it, carrying the pieces back home in your trunk, and then rebuilding it in your garage to attach it to your car.

Why is it always "they have no baths?!"

Dude.

Everybody, every culture, every set of humans around the world knew the idea of heating up water.
There are baths made by cliff-dwelling cultures, by jungle-dwelling ones, by plain-, swamp-, island-, mountain-, and forest-dwelling cultures.

Everybody knows "bath," dude; and no lack of money has stopped humans from bathing; even ancient Ireland's people dug holes, filled them, tossed in hot rocks, and had a bath.

What is it with manga authors that they think bathing is unique? Europeans in the High Middle Ages bathed more often than most Americans today, and WAY more than the average Japanese.

Such a weird and dumb trope; inaccurate, too.
