I'm sorry, but I beg your f****** pardon?! Shigeno has showed certain chauvinistic tendencies in the manga and I can more or less accept them because he was referring towards local sweets, tourist sites, etc., but just out claiming that the Japanese have better technology in motorized engines on top of any other country is a take so out there I can't help but stare with certain concern.

Not sure about the information, but considering how my government prepared the country for eVs. I knew there was an ulterior motive for the push.
eVs are underselling than combustion ones, even the occasion market eVs are doing bad. The reason people bought eV was they were subsidised.
