Ok but to be optimistic, maybe he was just trying to figure out if his wife WOULD cheat in a scenario like that, so he wore a disguise and tried to tempt her disguising as someone else. But if her wife was loyal and recognized him from the beginning, then she would be fine with it since its still her husband. But if she wasn't loyal, that means that she would cheat on him, but she just knew that it was her husband.
