Look at all the successful CGDCT series with a focus on a specific activity, they all have flushed out characters with established background and personalities.
What do we know about the main characters in this series? Not much. They live in the same apartment, one is JK and the other is OL and they both like to eat. Author tried to add some background to OL 10 chapters in but it's too late by then.
Slice of life doesn't need a plot but it does need flushed out characters and an enjoyable theme. Good art is a plus but not necessary as demonstrated by YuruCamp. Author is missing 50% of what makes a SoL series enjoyable.

Well it was a bit fun, but I can't really say it was good. Understandable for it to end, really not much you can do with just "slice of life girls eating but the eating is erotic". There was no character beyond them both loving to eat but one was anxious about it, wish they did something interesting with it

I felt this one had a ton of potential, but it was missing something, and i'm not even talking of the lack of yuri. Maybe a dash of drama or a goal in the near future, something that could spam a few chapters intead of "monster plate of the week" every chapter.

NOOOOOO there's other cute girls eating food manga surviving longer just fine even with minimum plot. I guess this just isn't lucky enough to be one of them ;_;

The foodgasm is not the reason I read this (tho I assume the author wants it to be a selling point) but I do love the bonding over food and all the food hacks they come up with.
At least the "main" four girls are gathered together now in the final chapter. I really enjoyed their addition of being the one who supplies expensive food and the one with the hyper-niche cooking utensils. Wish we could've seen more of them and the idol girl too.
