I’m assuming the reason the Milo was trapped was she was sacrificed during a time of famine and poor harvest which is why her head is stuck in the shrine as she was the prince that was payed for the wish of villagers

What a beautiful conclusion to this arc, and it's great they helped someone pass on peacefully! I also see Romm in a new light now, also that huge monster above the forest is scary. Gotta stay the fuck away from it
