The second volume of this manga should be coming out roughly one month later, mid august.

On reviewing the novel, I've noticed that conversations and explanations are pared down to a very basic levels, so this manga might seem abrupt. It does explain much better in the novel though. Her parents do care for her and keep an eye on her . Her mother comforts her when she's feeling down at the orphanage and her father does ask after her and how she's doing every time her mother visits her. So the manga does cut down quite a bit of stuff away.

She should lean into her faith more because nothing is making sense
