Yuuk-un we getting some crossdressing action in the future, 🤨 none the less, I enjoyed the prince getting all riled up to hype and support the gen Ed

Oh man, this is kinda high-key terrifying, If anything happens to a lot the series I liked, we're all beyond cooked, mangadex is Truly the one gifted site that told us to sit back, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet with nothing to bother us

I mean sure, you can call it "excuses" all you want but at the end of the day they did try their best and noone cared.
They can try their best under the tutelage of 4 of the most qualified people and maybe get some recognition but so what? Everything they do different will be dictated by someone not from the gen ed course. And unless they do the same spiel next year its just gonna be the same again.
At best they get some more funding and put up a better performance but this entire arc seems so hollow.
And its not like anyone actually cared about the gen ed department, the 3 goddesses didnt even know about it when the series started and apparently never looked into it since then.
The students are right to complain about not having a normal high school life because...
I mean honestly just look at the state they are in. Nothing is being done to remedy this until the last second and its being done for an entirely different reason.
Instead of looking into ways to actually help these students catch up with the rest of the school or enjoy their time there, we just need to get them to continue being there so the so called geniuses can keep their love interests around.

Theoretically, the plan is probably that by showing that the gen ed department can produce something worthwhile when under the tutelage of the geniuses we can then convince the school to keep the department and maybe integrate them with the other courses, but that is not the pitch being made here and not the rethoric being used.

I suspect the play is gonna be a big hit thanks to the effort made by the mc, the goddesses and the assistant and therell probably be a moment where all the gen ed memeber show up unexpectedly to help in a desperate situation and say shit like "actually trying my best for once doesnt feel that bad" and then everyone is happy and the gen ed will continue and get funding etc withoit addressing how it got to this point at all

The /a/non who has been working on this will continue to do so, they just won't upload here anymore, and unless an alternative comes out, they have no other place to upload either. They'll just post their works on /a/.
Sorry but what's /a/?

Yeah i agree, like when the assistant complained about the gap it felt annoying since his thing was we are two different worlds it would never work. But putting someone on a pedestal like that hurts your relationship with them, whether it be romantic or otherwise.
Now with the General departments backstory I feel like they have a lot more reason to not care, it's one thing to work hard but when everything is against you (from the budget, to the building, to even attendance) and successfully crushes you, you don't want to continue and honestly that's fair. Like you said though any fix that this event does will be temporary, its not like the kids didn't work hard before so the only major difference will be you have geniuses lead. Which feels like it doesn't stop the gen-ed department from being shut down

Seems to be in everyone's best interest for the Gen-Ed department to get shut down.

They're normal students but can't even have a normal school life. And not for lack of trying. That's depressing. And the only reason this is being addressed is because 4 geniuses want their love interest in close proximity?

That's not sustainable at all unless the whole school undergoes a culture shift. I fear I won't like how this arc concludes...

Everything aside, I agree with them. Not to shit on a genius/talented person's hard work, but most normal people, no matter how hard they try, will never reach genius level.
(Hard work is also a talent btw, not everyone can do it even if they're a genius)
