Speaking of the ocean is it really that clear around Japan? Either way wouldn't her eyes sting from the salt since she's not wearing goggles?
And on the subject of being underwater breathing in air would make you more buoyant and therefore less able to 'run' on the ocean floor, which if you tried would be slow and awkward as hell because we humans are land creatures and not physiologically adapted to water movement.
