Yeah, I feel like this must have flown much better in Japanese. I did get the joke, sure, but clearly it worked worse in English, especially when it was supposed to run for so long.

After tomorrow’s chapter, I will be stepping down as the sole translator of minami-Ke. It’s been a good run and a great learning experience for me. I started scanlating at 14 and have been going for almost three years now. My motivation to translate has gradually lessened and the quality has clearly suffered.
