So it's not worth my time as a new viewer to marathon it from beginning to end from the looks of it.

Or at least that's the impression I'm getting from those who did read it to the end.

Man, for how interestingly the manga covered the premise and for how good it was with its characters, this is a really shit ending. Especially ending with a tease for a 4th wife, that's just stupid considering the entire thing was a weird law that allowed certain men designated by the state to have 3 wives, not some sort of willing polycule. The manga even went out of its way to show how the law was disrupting society because it created a special class of dudes.
To end with that, and not even on a shot of the whole family working together, is bizarre. It feels like that wasn't the plan at all and this was a gambit for a sequel or something, but clearly it didn't work out! What a bummer.
I'm glad to see it finished, but boy what a letdown.

Tbh i personnaly enjoyed the series its just sadly one of thoose that have a very rushed ending in its final vol with some conflict and then wrapping it up somehow it defnitly feels like an axed series which is a shame since as said at start it was a pretty good read i also binge read it and then decided to pick up it to finish the final vol since saw it wasnt scanlated for so long oh well is what it is ^^

I think the ending is just fine; think of it as post credit scene in a 2 hours romcom movie (the whole series is relatively short anyway).

I'm just gonna make it head canon that the girl from before who was made to watch but couldn't get the d became prime minister or something and upped the wife count and forced herself in the harem along with this new girl. And maybe the kid gets a harem with the two girls who got cheated on just to show off the cheating kid who's better idk.

People are upset because the ending somewhat let the series down. The story is still the best harem law story I've seen (but the competition there might be low).

Personally I liked it. Ending chapter was so-so. Ending panel was.. well, very much of the mangaka school of "always end a story in a way that leaves more questions in the mind of the reader".

I'm thankful this got axed. It got really stupid the moment Wife #1 stopped pushing back on the idea of polygamy. It was already dumb when he didn't simply charge his phone for 2 days when shit was going down, but that's when I lost hope for this.
