Thank you for translating and dropping 17 chapters all at once!

At first I thought this was going to take heavy inspiration from Silence of the Lambs based on the premise and symbolism but this is much more influenced by the Bryan Fuller produced Hannibal series in style and the "romance" at the core. Impatient to see where it goes next even as each chapter adds to the queasy feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach. The author knows exactly what she's doing, and I'm a little upset at how effective it is.

I binged the 17 chapters last night and then ended up finding the text messages when I was looking into her other stories to see if they were something I would read. I wish I hadn't read them. Legality aside, I felt like I needed to take a cold shower after reading the predatory and gross things she said in those conversations. Everything I had just read was stained by her true character and what was lurking in the shadows of the work became impossible to ignore. Yeah. Its disgusting how her works are so popular.... like if we talk about yuri manhuas, the most popular ones are always her work. (Miss zuoying, I'm more dangerous than you, manipulate my heart). ok from what i see yeah it's bad but not that dramatic (inappropriate messaging but from what i understand she never touched a minor?), plus do we know how old are those stories or if she changed her behavior since then?

Im guessing its definitely been going on for a long time since all of the manhuas written by her all have like a teacher x student type stuff or just adult x child. She MIGHT'VE touched a minor since shes been with a bunch of 17 yearolds then throw them away the moment they turn 18. She probably hasnt changed her behavior since its been going on as she wrote those manhuas.

Honestly idc about that, more about things like what will happen with the doctor/mother dynamics, how the daughter will end up helping her mother despite not liking her, what was the real motives of her mother's actions, did she even trully did it etc etc
