Honestly, the only way you should stop translating because someone is complaining about quality, is if that someone is going to do the job instead of translating, editing and all that stuff. Otherwise, that other person doesn't have the right to complain. Also, this is about complaining just because, for people pointing out mistakes and helping the translator, those are welcome cause in the end they're helping someone to improve.
