I think it's the other way around. This chapter was still more than half a year before the axe after all, its unlikely to be affected by it. Instead this stupid personality change was probably why the readers stopped liking the series leading to the axe a few chapters later.

i dunno if it was the axe or the Altor, but the next chapter was suppose to be a cosplay target/arc and it was cut short way before it even begun, and toss in 3 targets crossed out together with it.

Like, I genuinely don’t understand. She pulled a complete 180 faster than I think I’ve ever seen, going from innocent and reluctant to a full-on slut in record time. And with this guy, of all people!

I’m remembering what I said a few chapters ago: this manga isn’t supposed to make sense. Trying to understand it will only give you a headache, and will also probably put you in a terrible mood for at least the rest of the day.
This is one of the most polarizing manga I’ve ever read: either you’re really into it and everything like it, or you’re absolutely disgusted by its very existence. I’m the latter. Why am I still here, you ask? I don’t know either.
