For once I am in complete agreement with Yuushin: I, too, swooned a little when Miyu made Yokoajiro pick which hand she was gonna get slapped with.

And the whole sequence of Yuushin seemingly effortlessly carrying the grandma to the hospital followed by the reveal that her problem was being too fat has gotta be the weirdest, most indirect reminder yet that Yuushin is ripped as hell in spite of being such a huge dork.

I feel like we've lost a lot of the eerieness from the beginning of the story.

At this point no one has really reacted like she should be dead, and it only seems to be her and her dad who say that is what happened, and neither of them are any more trustworthy than the other characters.

I can't think of a reason to fake all of this, but their stated goal is pretty nuts, so I'm most suspicious of Miyu and her dad.

On the plus side, the characters seem to have grown a bit and I am a lot more interested in the story.

Yuushin's mother was the one who told her kid that Miyu is dead. That's the whole twist of chapter one. He himself didn't know because he was in the hospital and looks like nobody told him about it. But granted, it was Miyu's father who told Yuushin's mother about it.
But we saw fake-Miyu's own POV flashback of her class with Miyu being surrounded by her friends while she was left alone. And she didn't remember Haruto or any of Miyu's classmates. So I don't think there's a reason to doubt that she's a different person.

Miyu and her Dad are by far the least trustworthh people in the story so far. Their plan in insane and they appear to be willing to lie about anything.

I wonder if "real Miyu" may have actually killed "fake Miyu", and is now pretending to be "fake Miyu" impersonating "real Miyu" to investigate the murder that she herself committed to avoid the consequences and live as herself with the help of her dad.

Hmm.. Is Miyu not dead? Is it just some sort of mental illness (Dissociation?) that causes her to think she is not the original one?
It would be a wild plot twist if Miyu "dying" was just metaphorical and that she just lost bit by bit all of what made her "Miyu" in her mind.

In that perception, her seing Miyu from another viewpoint could just be her freaking out at her own behavior because of a hard-to-keep mask in a memorable moment. Honestly, I could relate to this, it happened to me sometimes, very weird feeling.

But honestly it would still be very surprising and kinda cheesy haha.
