seems so, with all the flashbacks of her looking herself in the water too, would explain why she would be really different on Unicorn, but quite the flex she's a newtype too lol

That's only one part of it, though. Keep in mind, he's not entirely "in-the-know" about Moon Moon and Jutta's full origins, so the politicians keeping Moon Moon off the radar coupled with the illicit activities there can still come into play and play a role. It kinda does in Hi-Streamer when Amuro confronts Char in the Sazabi during testing. Kamille being a son was never a thing for him anyways, not after the end of Zeta. Amuro throws that in his face and Char blames Kamille himself for it, so all that jives with him brushing off Kamille here in Moon (Fukui defers to Tomino, remember).

It does make me wonder what the Mineva-double on the Sadalahn is doing. Unless I'm misremembering, it was mentioned that she's still in Federation custody in a chapter a while back.
