Yeah... In frame 2, the lunch box is already empty, but frame 3 gives the impression of "excitement to eat" rather than "satisfied after eating."
It would make more sense if the frames were ordered 1,3,2,4.

Are we to assume that the food is supposed to be there and the artist was just too lazy to draw it?

Or is she bad at cooking or unable to afford food and just acting out a delusion?

All of the others are pretty straightforward without any mindfuckery, so this one feels distinctly out of place.
