rather ridiculous, using they i can only think there was more then 1 guard as no sane person would ever use they to refere to a single individual, yet the way the conversation is going it seems to only be one person, and we only ever get to see 1 pair of boots, indicating its only one single person, also, its silly to only show the boots, is the target audience 5 year olds or something?
and just leaving the guard(s) behind like that is highly disturbing, cruel and disrespectful, it is irrelevant if she has plans to send someone to recover the body/bodies later, there is nothing preventing them from bringing the body/bodies right now, we have clearly seen theres monsters around, leaving the body/bodies behind like that will absolutely guarantee it will draw in monsters to feed on it/them, again, its highly disturbing and disrespectfull of her to so cassually leave them behind for later.
