I love how realistic the situation turned out to be and sad at the same time. The gravity of being isekai'd isn't always as smooth sailing as all the isekai stories people binge on. Fantasy powers and even being OP isn't worth the price of the family who raised you and loved you, as well as good friends who supported you. I'd understand if it's sort of an escapism to those who live a terrible life though, like fantasizing of being isekai'd and have a fresh start.

Always annoys me when apparently the isekai people were too stupid to try eating something themselves. Here in the real world, there are entire recipes and methods for cooking thistles, because people have starved and learned how to do so.
You mean to tell me they never tried boiling the "animal feed" to make it tender? Really?

As for the other isekai'd dude, I see several people thinking they his partner probably felt he ran out on them, but I doubt that. He left all his stuff, probably had a fully untouched bank account, hasn't contacted other family members.
It's still sad for them, because the mystery of what happened is probably more torturous then simply finding out he died.
